My Daily Protocol

For those that are interested, this is part of my daily schedule.

It starts with a good night’s sleep. No relaxing sleep, no relaxing day. So I am early to bed, usually about 9pm to 9.30pm. Lights out 10pm.
No eating beyond about 6pm, a light supper. Main meals of the day are breakfast and lunch.
I follow the Ayurvedic principles. Ayurveda is clearly in favour of getting to bed early. Pitta energy is rising between 10pm and 2am and if we work too late or are digesting too late, it starts using up energy that needs to be winding down at this time. It is incredible how we are neglecting true relaxing and deep sleep. It creates a downward spiral and begins the compromise of essential functions, namely adrenal fatigue, liver congestion and digestive disorders. SLEEP!

Morning.
* Scrape tongue before doing anything else. Removes mucus. Brush teeth.
* Drink 3 glasses of warm water (not tap) with the juice of a whole lemon.
* Glass of Raw Goat milk Kefir.
* Glass of Green Juice, with Alfalfa, Wheatgrass, Barleygrass, Moringa, MSM, Vit C, Magnesium, Goji Powder and Sacred Clay.
* Probiotic each day.
* Enzymes each day.
* Vitamin D each day.
* Vitamin B12 each day.
* Chlorella each day (5 grams)
* Vegan Omega 3 each day.
* Smoothie each day. (Fruit and greens)

EXERCISE.

Tibetan 5 Rites EVERY MORNING. Unless you are too ill to get out of bed this is a life commitment.
Rebounding 10 – 15 mins perday.
Running – Every other day or every day. 5 – 10K OR  Interval training.
Building core strength with focused exercises. This helps enormously.

DIET.
Fundamentally RAW but flexible, depending on time of year and state of body needs.
Flexible Raw – Means always greens, always thinking alkalizing but not obsessive about it HAVING to be Raw. I dropped imposing rules on myself in favour of FREEDOM to choose, and choose wisely, and make mistakes, and break rules..It’s about responsibility not obeying rules.

Foods I eat often: Salad, Steamed veg, Wild rice, buckwheat, seeds, nuts, avocado,
hemp seeds and oil, olives, fruits. Lentils, occasional tofu and tempeh. Sprouts. Seaweeds.
Super Foods: Maca, Bee Pollen, Goji berries, Cacao, raisins, dates, Lucuma, Acai, Camu Camu
Medicinal: Astragalus, Reishi, Chaga, Schizandra, Noni…
Spices: Turmeric, Coriander, Cumin, Cayenne, Cinnamon, ginger, garlic.
Milk: Almond, hemp, Coconut Milk, Raw Goats Milk for Kefir.

Things I do sometimes:
Water enemas, Coffee enemas, Juices, Spirulina, Reishi drinks, adrenal herbs, thyroid herbs.

After being ill for so long and having to focus so much on what foods I can and can’t eat, it became obsessive and almost neurotic. And so now I allow myself to simply flow with it. I know what’s good for me and what’s not. And if I have something that’s not ‘good’ for me, well so what!  It’s not the one off things we do that kill us, unless we eat poison, it’s the habits we have, it’s the things we do over and over again year after year unconsciously, those are the things that kill us. And so if you want any advice from me, it would be to focus on getting well, do what ever it takes to get well, and then RELAX!

  1. I have been curing myself of the ‘incurable’ UC with natural health concepts and its made a huge difference. And it really is about going with he tide. I had huge results for a few years and now I am tweaking again as my body says I need to. How wonderful you are spreading this message, well done xx
